G&L El Toro
Not many of these El Toros out there as they were built only between 1983 and 1989. This one is in surprisingly good condition considering it's nearly 40 years old. Similar to the the L-2000 with smaller humbuckers, these basses go for between $1,200 and $1,600. This one is priced considerably less because the truss rod is maxed out and there's still a bit of a bow in the neck. Regardless, it still plays great up and down the neck with only slightly higher action than we like to see. A great vintage U.S. built G&L that still has some good years ahead.
