Fender 1962 Jazz Bass
$9,999.00
Product details
Here's a great opportunity to own a killer Pre CBS Fender Jazz bass. Everything on the bass including all hardware, pickups, pots, tuners, and bridge are original. The pot codes read "304 5261" which means they were manufactured by Stackpole the very last week of 1961. The heal of the neck is marked "2 62". The only thing not original is the finish. It was originally 3-Tone Sunburst. The neck was Plek'd some years ago by Mike Lull Guitarworks so it plays amazingly well. Well under 9 lbs. with insane mojo and a highly resonant Alder body. The Vintage Guitar Magazine Price Guide values a sunburst 3-knob '62 Jazz between $16,500 and $22,000. Refins, of course, are valued less, but at a selling price of $9,999.00 it is truly under valued and has lots of equity built in. Includes a non original Fender Hardshell case.
