Rickenbacker 1987 4003S "Tuxedo Bass"
Here's a rare one. It has been upgraded with a Duncan pickup in the bridge, but a stock pickup can easily be found. Because of the pickup upgrade, this bass sounds much better and beefier than other Rics. The bridge pickup beauty ring can also be found in black, but a little more difficult. However, these hardly ever come up for sale and since there are only a handful of them, people tend to hold onto them. Overall, it's very clean, but it has a bit of rash on the back by the heel and some discoloration on the back from set lists being taped on from time to time. So this bass was used live for sure. Also includes the original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity, and hang tag. Highly collectable even with the swapped pickup.
