Fender 1976 Precision Bass

Product details
This Precision Bass has a ton of mojo and a crazy history. It was owned by a local journeyman bass player who played all over the PNW with various bands. He was playing a show one night in 1993 and Noel Redding from the Hendrix Experience was in town and attended the show. At the end of the show, he autographed the bass you see here. It doesn't necessarily make the bass more valuable, but it is pretty cool, so we chose not to remove it. The bass itself has been modded with a counter sunk Badass I bridge, the pots have been changed, and a brass nut has been installed, but the rest of the bass is original including the pickups, that had the covers swapped out for white ones that have aged with the rest of the bass, a testament to the club life this bass has lived. Mostly, it sounds freakin' awesome and it's under 9 lbs.
